Live to Love is a program started by His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa in March 2007, to encourage one to put spiritual practice into daily use. His Holiness said that Live to Love is a fancy name for activities that encourage everyone to reach out to others, other than practicing in comfort. He said, "Compassion is to be cultivated and developed, but love is the action that is very much needed to be carried out as a support." Spiritual centers under the guidance of His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa and several other participating Rinpoches of the lineage such as H.E. Khamtrul Rinpoche Jigme Pema Nyinjadh who presently studies and resides in Bhutan, and H.E. Lhachok Rinpoche in Nangchen have been following His Holiness's call to carry out Live to Love activities in their own local communities.

Live to Love, another brainchild of His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa, covers five different aspects of humanitarian and environment preservation causes, with explanation as follows:
Explanation of logo - The five hearts represent love from five directions, coming together in unity and harmony. The orange light in the centre represents the sun (of hope), with its glow of sunrays gradually growing to become red, the color of strength and energy. This symbolizes a heart full of love that illuminates from self to others, with the thriving selfless energy to extend love in the form of humanitarian activities to those beings in our world. The external circle which is orange in color symbolizes the perfection of the beneficial activities that are carried out with fearless confidence and definite success.
- Education - such as building schools (Druk White Lotus School), and eventually being able to provide scholarships
- Medical Facilities - such as the various clinics in the Himalayas, providing the basic medical facilities for the needy and cooperating with other hospitals for relief assistance in other areas of medical expertise
- Relief and Aid - such as providing human resources and other resources for relieving those affected by disasters, whether natural or manmade
- Heritage - such as providing support to preserve the spiritual and cultural heritage of our 800-year legacy, and gradually, depending on our resources, extending this to include others
- Environment - such as educating our communities on environment preservation and waste management
